i bought a $2000 samsung curved tv with a $600 so calles full coverage warranty. the tv eas damaged and when i tried to call to get service, i was told that it wasnt covered and they were sorry that our sales rep "misinformed" us! i called their corporate offices, regional managers, everyone-and was told that they would look into it and get back to me within 24 hours. nobody has ever called me back. so they lied to me about the warranty and now that they have my money they are just ignoring me and refusing to honor their warranty promise. do not shop at big sandy superstore. they are horrible, uncaring liars.

Bought a bed on Nov 8, 2014 and after 2 months the bed still isn't here

On Nov 8,2014 I purchased a bed and a mattress from the Big Sandy store in Lancaster , Ohio. I had also purchased a couch and a love seat prior to this too and was to pick up everything on Nov 22. When picking up items the bed wasn't in and they didn't know why.Called store on Nov 24 it was never ordered now it will take 4 wks to come in, their comment was the girl we bought it from had quit no I am sorry on anything to correct the problem. Dec 5th still no bed, Checked with store on Dec 12 now it was in warehouse but no one had called us or had checked on it so still we have no bed. We finally get it to the store 12-18-14 and picked up on 12-22-15 get it to our sons apt. on 1-3-15 putting it togather to find out we have a King head board and rest of the bed is a queen which is what the bed was to be. Called store again talked to woman mgr. finally got a "I understand your upset" was told she would re-order the bed again which will take another 4 wks and was told she would send us a $100 gift card for our inconvience, 6 days later still no gift card! So how much do they really care if we spend our money there or not?

Recliners ordered Oct 22 2014 was told they would be here by end of Oct.

Then we were told it would be end of Nov NOW the say maybe dec 15!!!! 3 weeks still no recliner!!

I financed a couch, chair, and ottoman which I received promptly!! The recliner which I paid for with cash and a grand total of 519.98 for still hasn't made it in from the manufacturer it has been 3 wks so far the salesman did not tell me it was on going to be this long to receive my chair or I would have bought a different one I asked if I could pick another chair for the same price that was in stock he said I could but wouldn't get a chair that was the same in quality!! They said today I should get it no later that the 15th that is 4 wks after the delivery of the other furniture!

I have bought many things from Big Sandy a bought 17,000.00 dollars worth of stuff for my rentals and my home im still waiting for my couch and it has been two months now and on most of my other orders have been damages. im buying 4 more app.

in Parkersburg and im thinking a bought going somewhere else for my other needs. im pissed off a bought the whole matter the services is bad.

the people takes a long time to help you get checked out. I spent about four hours at the store before getting checked out when they made a delivery to my four houses or rentals it was damaged.

$2000 front loader washer and dryer set

If you purchase anything from their store make sure you have a vehicle to pick your own items up! I paid $2000 for a front loader washer and dryer set. When the delivery guys came they had dented the washer and dryer! Both had several scratches. I mentioned it to the guys... the one said it wasn't his problem and they left! Called the store manager to report and he offered to give me $67 dollars back off a $2000 set they delivered damaged! Needless to say I kept the set didn't go back in for the money but will never purchase anything there again!

Double sold

Went to the Big Sandy in Cross Lanes wv. I bought a leather Chaise Lounge, paid for it, went home to get a vechile to go back and pick it up. 30 Min laters went back to pick it up, waited 40 min .while they walked around looking for them it. Finalllu a manager came to tell me that while I was gone they accidently sold it. It was the only one left. They said they could offer me a refund, like they were doing me a favor. They were very rude and unprofessional. They could not explain to me how they sold it, when they put a sold sign on it when I bought it.

Really Poor Service by Big Sand Store and Warehouse

August 11 2012 we purchased and paid in full for a chair from the Big Sandy Store in South Ridge, South Charleston and arranged to pick it up at the warehouse. No one phoned us by 29 Aug. We called and they said it was in. We drove to the warehouse today. It was not there. They had taken the wrapping off on it and put it on the floor. We refused it as we did not know who sat on it. We got at least we different stories as to when it came in. Both places gave very poor service. All we got was managers say they were sorry. The warehouse was a mess with packing and garbage lying around at the back where there were displys. We are advising all of our friends not to shop at Big Sandy.

Big Sandy Superstore lied!

Purchased furnature 7/16/2012, delivery supposed to be 7/18/2012. 4 of 8 pieces show up, 2 of the 4 are damaged. Now being told it will be mid August to get the rest? Wrong! I will set what you left on the curb and tell you to pick it up when you drop off my refund! I you had told me it was all on back order, I would NOT have bought it. Quit lying. Only causes you bad publicity like this. I will never purchase anything there again and will advise everyone I know of my bad experience.

Bad customer service!

We purchased two recliner chairs and agreed to pick them up at the Cross Lanes location when they came in. We recieved a phone call that the chairs were in so we made arrangements to pick them up so that we could take them to our camp (which is an hour and a half away). So, after driving 20 miles and making arrangements for a truck, the store only has one chair. Of course the Cross Lanes store blamed the South Ridge store for the mistake. So we tell them that we will be back when they have both chairs and two weeks later they call and say that they have both chairs in. So we make arrangements to pick up the chairs, again, but we called before we left just to make sure they had both chairs. Guess what, they only had one chair, again. When I spoke with Mike, the manager at the Southridge location, he was of no help at all. As a manager, he was completely useless and did nothing to try and satisfy his customers. We are in the process of building a new house and we will be buying a lot of new furniture for our house, but not from Big Sandy! Mike offered a $50 gift certificate but I told him to just credit our credit card instead because we will not be doing business with Big Sandy ever again!

Big Sandy Superstore Outlet

I bought a recliner sectional from the Big Sandy Superstore Outlet. Not knowing before we purchased it the center console of the couch which has the controls to turn on the vibration for both the recliners one of the cords was cut into two (so only one recliner vibrates) and now not even a year later both the recliners on the couch part of the sectional doesn't work at all. My other friend bought a mattress from the same store and the center part of the bed sunk in and the manager would not allow her to exchange it and they only had the mattress a couple months. I spent $900 at that store and it was a big waste of time and money.

We bought brand new kitchen set. Gas stove, frige and microwave.

. Fridge was faulty!! Fan in freezer makes a loud and I mean loud noise that can b heard throughout the whole house when it runs. And dented...

we got the warranty for the fridge but when you recieve a piece of *** fridge thats is supposed to be brand new.. they should replace it.. and the door grinds when u open it..

but they have not replaced it.. this place is a rip off!!!

Bought Bed on 9/10/11 have yet to receive it...I'm Pissed.. Paid Cash for Bed with understanding I would receive in in 8-10 days well it has been a month and klookd like it will be longer. the stone will not answer the phone, taked 30 minutes to get in touch with anyone & then you get no answers..I will never buy anthing here again, even though it is the only stone in the area. & yes I will tell everyone I know. I have purchased things thru Big Sandy before, but not in Paintsville, with no problem

Complete Ripoff same as cash fiasco.

They add charges and do not tell you. So, when the loan is finally paid off, it actually NOT paid off and then they charge you the COMPLETE interest for the life of the loan.

Stay away from these crooks.

The final payment was mailed on the 8th, I am sure it arrived by the 12th, but that was a Friday and they didn't enter the final payment until Monday, and those 3 days cost me more than three hundred dollars in interest.

And now they are charging interest ON the interest at a rate of 21%. Worst experience I ever had with a merchant.

Um, you posted this on the wrong page, knucklehead. You're complaining about the finance company, not the furniture store.

When you finance these things, it goes over to a finance company (let me guess - Citi Fi?) and you're agreement is with them. If you overdraft your checking account at Walmart, buying your Cheetos and Cheez-Wiz, do you blame Wal-Mart, or your own fat ***?

Get a clue... Don't rip a merchant because you're too uneducated to pay your bills on time...

Ironic that you can't spell, have poor grammer, use all capital letters, and have never logged back on since posting this silly article. I have bought from Big Sandy several times, and always had a great experience.

They've never sold me anything used, and they're not tied in with Rent A Center, they simply offer financing, with no credit check, through a sister company of RAC. They offer premium financing, but also have this option for people who are a lot like you - backwoods, simplistic folks with bad credit, few teeth, and no education.

At least it lets you get some new furniture! But they're a good company, run by good people, and sadly, they have to deal with *** like you!
